My name is Alex (nick: Alex_Shenmue), i’m 24 years old, and I’m from Tuscany, Italy. On March 2012, I’ve opened this blog/site called Perfume Disco to give you all the latest News, Articles, Reviews and Infos about the Japanese Technopop Unit called Perfume!
I listen to this group composed by three beautiful girls since November 2010, I’ve memorized their discography and during the last couple of years I’ve tried to buy and collect their CDs to support them. I’ve never really been into J-pop before I met Perfume, but once I’ve found them while randomly lurking on YouTube, my vision towards this genre totally changed: Their songs give me many and different feelings, and I think these girls are really talented and deserve to be where they are now.
About me, I love Japan, Music and Video Editing. I’ve opened a YouTube channel where I upload videos about Perfume, trying to have fun and to help all of the overseas fans who want to support the girls.
I’ve been in Japan from the 7th to the 21st of November 2011, and I had the best experience of my life. Japan is like heaven, and I have many beautiful memories that I will always bring in my heart together with all the beautiful japanese people I’ve met!

Hello, Alex. I love this group very much. I have lived in UAE and Qatar for 4 years. I have never had chance to join their live concert though I am a Japanese and sometimes visited Japan. I always enjoy their music and dance in Youtube. Perfume have unique approach to the people, due to not only Yasutaka’s music, cool video clips, dance, but also kawaii character of each member. I have opinion why Perfume are welcomed by the people in the other countries except Japan. It seems Perfume have similar taste of Japanese manga, catoon which are translated in different languages and sold in the world. Perfume and manga culture has cool, fun, kawaii(cute), unique and something only one in the world.
I am very curious what makes you love Perfume. Thank you.
