Do you remember the crazy run for the 26.000 and more tweets?

Well, now everything is over. All the Perfume fans on Twitter reached the goal two days ago, tweeting like hell to see what this website is all about and finally completing the 3D image of our girls that finally appeared after a long waiting. But the countdown didn’t stop… until today, at Japanese midnight, when the Perfume Global Website finally opened the gates! You’ve probably seen it already and it’s totally GORGEOUS! I mean, just look at this…

Tweets are flowing everywhere!

Everything works with Flash Player obviously, and first of all we have an amazing song as background produced by Nakata that really rocks (Yasutaka, you damn genius), together with some 3D models dancing an amazing choreography obviously created by Mikiko, with all the tweets with the #Perfume_um hashtag floating around the screen; Totally STUNNING… But also simple and really direct: moving our mouse on the upper left side of the home page we can open a menu showing all the latest news, confirming the International release of JPN on iTunes scheduled for March 6, which is tomorrow or today depending on your timezone. Set your clocks for the upcoming midnight to see the latest Perfume release on one of the most famous music stores of the web!

Moving along, just below the news section, we have a link to their biography and I have to spend some good words about this aspect too; The article is short but really direct and of good impact, briefing all the goals the girls reached in seven years of Major Label activities, stuff that will surely impress the newcomers and those who wants to get a clear image of who these girls really are. But the most impressive thing that surprised everyone is the last paragraph: Words that open the doors to the future of the girls, turning on the hopes of all the overseas fans that could never see their favorite group live. Here it is…

Events in Asia, Europe, America… isn’t all of this just UNBELIEVABLE?

To be honest I was expecting some overseas activities, especially in America, where they’ve already been twice, but hey…Europe! It really surprised me as they’ve never considered the Old Continent that much until now, but this is the proof that almost everyone in the world will finally have the chance to see Perfume in his own country, or really near that! They’re seriously aiming to be known worldwide and to bring their music in all the world, and let me tell you that the expectations are great. Yes, this new Global Website looks (and sounds) super cool, and I can’t wait to see more and more in the future… this is just the beginning.

But it’s not over, because there are two more news: First of all Perfume finally have an Official Facebook Page! This is really great considering how the girls have always been pretty much banned from one of the most famous social networks of the web, but finally they have their own space where the fans can write and be updated on all of the latest news about the girls. Second, there’s a new Perfume Twitter account called Follow @Perfume_um (same as the hastag) to keep in contact with the fans! I’m really glad to see the girls active on social networks, considering how this kind of promotion was considered like a taboo until not long ago (by Tokuma, obviously).

Oh my… this is too much! We are assisting to a very aggressive promotion, and it seems like Universal is not really scared of bringing the girls in all the world using all the possible ways to make Perfume be known everywhere! After years and years under the strict hands of Tokuma, this really seems like a dream.

Be ready guys… Perfume is gonna get you, wherever you are!
